royalfandomfashionweek:

Finally, here I am with the news regarding the Second Edition of the Royal Fandom Fashion Week.

I told you guys there would be some changes and they’re about NEW COLLECTIONS!

Both, Me and Rafa, decided to change it to make the competition more interesting for those of you who also participated of the first edition.

So, enought talk. Let’s see how it’s gonna be this time:

ROYAL TOUR COLLECTION:

Here the designers must create at least 5 sets for a imaginary royal tour. You can use your royal role play in the royal fandom to inspire your creativity. If you aren’t part of any house, just simply pretend that you’re royal or create a imaginary one. The sets must show your style. So, basically, it’s everything about you here.

The rules remain the same: you can create at least 5 sets but if you’re feeling very creative, we’ll be accepting more 5 sets of you (It brings the total to 10 sets. If you create more than that number we won’t judge!).

The royal duties of your fantasy tour is your choice but among those 5 (or 10) sets you’ll must to create 1 set following these particulary dress codes (1 set for each dress code, which means 3 sets):

  • White Tie or Black Tie (tiaras, orders ans sashes are optional for both styles).
  • Morning suit (hats and fascinators are optional).
  • Casual (blouses, pants, skirts, shirts…).

PS: The country you’re touring to is also your choice and you have to request it on our askbox (We’ll be soon publishing a list with requests on the blog!)

MEN OUTFIT COLLECTION:

I’m not sure if you remember but back then when we were planing the First Edition we made a poll where you all had to decide between a Wedding Dress Collection and a Men Outfit Collection. You chose the first option and now we decided to put the second one in the competion.

Here you’ll have to stylist at least 5 sets for male royals. The rules remain the same: you can create at least 5 sets but if you’re feeling very creative, we’ll be accepting more 5 sets of you (It brings the total to 10 sets. If you create more than that number we won’t judge!).

The royal duties and events for this collection are your choice but among those 5 (or 10) sets you’ll must to create 1 set following these particulary dress codes (1 set for each dress code, which means 3 sets):

  • White Tie or Black Tie (orders ans sashes are optional for both styles).
  • Morning suit.
  • Casual (blouses, pants, shirts…).
  • Uniform.

ROYAL STYLIST COLLECTION:

This is by far my favorite collection of this edition which means I have high standards for this one.

Here you’ll have to choose a real life royal and create at least 5 sets inspired on their style. (Example: I’m choosing Princess Madeleine. I’m creating 5 sets that I believe suits her royal style). You can’t create a same outfit that royal wore before but you can choose some accessories or even recycle an outfit she or he wore years ago. You’ll pratically become stylist for that royal you love!

Of course we don’t want many of our designers with the same royal and because of that you also have to request your royal (We’ll be soon publishing a list with requests on the blog!).

The rules remain the same: you can create at least 5 sets but if you’re feeling very creative, we’ll be accepting more 5 sets of you (It brings the total to 10 sets. If you create more than that number we won’t judge!).

It’s a free collection! No dress codes are demanded!

That’s it for now, guys! We’ll be publishing the requests list and also making a poll to decide which week of November the RFFW2 will be happening. Until there you can still request to be a designer. You can send your ask until October 31st!

I’m pretty sure there’ll be some doubts (I don’t have that ability to explain things easily) so just pass by our ask and we’ll be trying to explain how the new collections work better through there.

Also, I’m sorry about my English!

Scotland votes ‘NO’ to independence

Scotland has voted to stay in the United Kingdom after voters decisively rejected independence.

With the results in from all 32 council areas, the “No” side won with 2,001,926 votes over 1,617,989 for “Yes”.

Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond called for unity and urged the unionist parties to deliver on more powers.

Prime Minister David Cameron said he was delighted the UK would remain together and said the commitments on extra powers would be honoured.

Mr Cameron said the three main unionist parties at Westminster would now follow through with their pledge of more powers for the Scottish Parliament.

"We will ensure that those commitments are honoured in full," he said.

Royal relief

Royal correspondent Nick Witchell at Balmoral

Balmoral seems very remote and cut off but of course the Royal Family has been following this minutely.

Reaction - one word, relief. Relief that’s it’s over, relief that Scotland has decided what it has.

The Queen undoubtedly, privately would have felt immense sadness had the United Kingdom been split up.

Relief too for her officials who had been starting to contemplate some very tricky constitutional issues.

Once all the politicians have said what they wish to say, I think this afternoon it is expected that the Queen will issue a short written statement.

It seems logical to surmise that after this really quite divisive campaign she will concentrate on the vote, the decision that Scotland has taken, and express the hope that Scotland will now move on.
